Somewhere in the Great West about 10 years ago, three women - all musicians/ poets/ songwriters - sat around a cracklin' fire in a snowstorm where they shared their Western tunes and they haven't stopped singing since! And because they all loved horses they decided they would be called "Horse Crazy."
Honoring American Folk through traditional songs of the American West, they also write original pieces about their love of land and their lives. Their performances entertain every audience with a combination of country humor and great music. Showing their appreciation for our American musical heritage, and keeping the cowboy/cowgirl spirit alive.

Lauralee Northcott brings each of her audiences a warm smile and an open heart. She draws from a lifetime of experiences in living and entertaining.
Her repertoire is timeless, whether she is crooning one of her original songs, belting out a Patsy Cline favorite, or involving her listeners in a happy sing-a-long. You might even catch her during the summer in the mountains around a campfire when she is cooking and singing.
Emele Clothier's favorite ride is on a big stout mule with her husband on his medicine hat paint when all the ranch chores are over and the sun's setting low in the Cascades. After that she's picking up the guitar and the banjo playing all her favorite Western tunes with the band. Country life, music and family are most important to this cowgirl - and ranch life is good!
Jennifer Epps grew up in the wrong part of the state to manifest her cowgirl nature as a child, though she certainly tried. It wasn't until she left the city to live full-time in the Methow Valley that she was able to be the cowgirl that she knew she was always meant to be. Her musical career began at an early age. Growing up in a musical family, her father sang barbershop, her mother played violin, and both sang in the choir. She learned to yodel... well, just because.
